Open Ramble East is a guide to queer sites, people and places in Cambridge, Colchester, Norwich and Great Yarmouth collated by Ian Giles based on local shared knowledge.

The book also includes poetry by Alison Graham and a text by artist Rachel Pimm.

Open Ramble East was an inclusive and versatile group of people who organised walks for local lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer in the East of England. These events were about establishing a space and meeting point for LGBTQ+ individuals and groups across the region. Giles was interested in what it means to be queer in a regional setting and the evolving status of queer people in society.
